- Jumbo shrimp can be one of the easiest appetizers to prepare. On those hot days use a platter with a layer if ice on it, in the center have a small bowl with cocktail sauce. Arrange the shrimp in a way that makes it easy to pick up with your fingers. Have the shrimp tails going in the same direction and add a few lemon wedges around the perimeter of the plate. This will keep the shrimp cool and moist.

- water
- salt
- jumbo shrimp
- lemon juice
- lemon wedges
- cocktail sauce
- platter
Step 1:
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a full boil.
Step 2:
- Add Shrimp.
Step 3:
- Bring back to a rolling boil.
Step 4:
- Add a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Step 5:
- Boil for two minutes.
Step 6:
- Remove shrimp from boiling water and plunge in ice water to stop the cooking process.
Step 7:
- Chill in the refrigerator for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy.
